Pregnancy Joke

Just thought of posting something up for laughs, this is quite an old one I received in the email.

An 18 year old Italian girl tells her Mom that she has missed her period for 2 months. Very worried, the mother goes to the drugstore and buys a pregnancy kit. The test result shows that the girl is pregnant.

Shouting, cursing, crying, the mother says, ‘who was the pig that did this to you? I want to know!’

The girl picks up the phone and makes a call. Half an hour later, a Ferrari stops in front of their house. A mature and distinguished man with grey hair and impeccably dressed in an Armani suit steps out of the Ferrari and enters the house.

He sits in the living room with the father, mother, and the girl and tells them: ‘Good morning, your daughter has informed me of the problem. I can’t marry her because of my personal family situation but I’ll take charge. I will pay all costs and provide for your daughter for the rest of her life.

Additionally, if a girl is born, I will bequeath a Ferrari, 2 retail stores, a townhouse, a beach front villa, and a $2,000,000 bank account. If a boy is born, my legacy will be a couple of factories and a $4,000,000 bank account. If twins, they will receive a factory and $2,000,000 each.

However, if there is a miscarriage, what do you suggest I do?’

At this point, the father, who had remained silent, places a hand firmly on the man’s shoulder and tells him, ‘You try again.’

Samsung Omnia

Verizon Wireless have those who are hankering after the Samsung Omnia so that they can parade it to family and friends this upcoming holiday season in mind, by launching the Samsung Omnia from tomorrow onwards. Just in case you’re not too sure what the hulabaloo is all about concerning the Samsung Omnia, it comes with a highly advanced 3.2” touch screen display, making it a viable alternative to those who have tried the iPhone and yet found it wanting in certain enterprise aspects. All I can say is, the Samsung Omnia looks set to be one of the best Windows Mobile 6.1-powered handsets to date judging by its specifications and early round of reviews online. More on the handset right after the jump.

The Unwanted Feeling

The Unwanted Feeling

I am there
But no one cares

I look, I see, I watch
But I find no one

Am I blind to others feelings
Or am I too conceited about my own

I ask, I beg, I plead
for love, for affection
But all I get is pity

I am human too, I have feelings too

Not worthy of love, not worthy of emotion
Is all I feel, Why?

Why this unwanted feeling?

About Reciprocal linking

Reciprocal Linking

Reciprocal links form a vital part of any website promotion effort. You have created great content, or offer a superb product or service -- and now, you want people to know about it.The Web is only as useful as the sum of its links, as without links it is just a disparate collection of pages. Links are the glue behind the Web. To ensure that your page has the visibility it deserves, you will need other sites to point to yours. The process of exchanging reciprocal links is essentially a simple one, but there are various approaches that can be taken in searching out and requesting links, as well as pitfalls that must be avoided. In this guide, I have attempted to provide the information required to smooth the process of exchanging links. Where relevant, I have taken the liberty of drawing on my own sites for examples.

A reciprocal link is an agreement between two webmasters to provide a hyperlink within their own website to each other's web site. Generally this is done to provide readers with quick access to related sites, or to show a partnership between two sites. Reciprocal links can also help to increase traffic to your web site in two ways. First you will probably have some viewers visit your site from clicking the reciprocal link directly. Secondly, most Internet search engines also take into account the number of web sites which contain links to your web site; the more hyperlinks to your site found, the higher up in the search engine rankings (depending on the search term) you'll find your site.

Reciprocal Link are the most commonly used method to achieve better ranking and gain more traffic. Dynamic Link Promoter is prefect for getting more reciprocal link for your web sites.

Reciprocal links are arranged when two web sites agree to link to each other.Reciprocal links are also known as "link swaps", "link exchanges" and "link partners".A common misspelling is "reciprical links".

Reciprocal links help you in two ways:

  1. They increase your web site traffic, from people who click on the links.

  2. Reciprocal links also play a major role in boosting your rankings in search engines.

A reciprocal link is a mutual link between two objects, commonly between two websites to ensure mutual traffic. Example: Alice and Bob have websites. If Bob's website links to Alice's website, and Alice's website links to Bob's website, the websites are reciprocally linked. Website owners often submit their sites to reciprocal link exchange directories, in order to achieve higher rankings in the search engines. Reciprocal linking between websites is an important part of the search engine optimization process because Google uses link popularity algorithms (defined as the number of links that led to a particular page and the anchor text of the link) to rank websites for relevancy.

  • Three way linking

Three way linking (siteA ⇒ siteB ⇒ siteC ⇒ siteA) is a special type of reciprocal linking. The attempt of this link building method is to create more "natural" links in the eyes of search engines. The value of links by three-way linking can then be better than normal reciprocal links, which are usually done between two domains.

  • Automated linking

In order to take advantage of the need for inbound links to rank well in the search engines, a number of automatic link exchange services have been launched. Members of these schemes will typically agree to have several links added to all their web pages in return for getting similar links back from other sites.

  • Link exchange

An alternative to the automated linking above is a link exchange forum, in which members will advertise the sites that they want to get links to, and will in turn offer reciprocal or three way links back to the sites that link to them. The links generated through such services are subject to editorial review.

Reciprocal Linking

Reciprocal Linking is Dead!

by Mike Banks Valentine

It was bound to reach this point, and now I've firmly put my foot down as of this past week and have begun to tell all potential future link partners I won't "swap links."

I will link, but I will not "swap links" with anyone now. I require content in the form of articles, press releases and news, quotes, testimonials or some form of content.

I link from the resource box of articles or contact info from the press releases, URL's of the honest testimonials I receive and contributed tutorials. Now the really bad news is that I must like the articles or content which is contributed - and I must play the role of editor to wannabe contributors and discard pieces that don't meet standards I set.

What was it that ruined strict reciprocal links for me? It happened when I received a polite link request from an apparently well-meaning reciprocal link partner and, as always, clicked through to his requested linking URL. I was forwarded immediately to an affiliate program page which this scammer hoped to slip by without my noticing.

If I had merrily added that link to my links page, he would have another linking partner and would increase his link popularity for his cloaked forwarding URL. My heart sank as I realized that yet another worthwhile and accepted, valuable web protocol has been subverted, perverted and is now being abused.

Reciprocal linking is dead!

Now just because one scammer has abused reciprocal links and distorted the true purpose of this practice, does it have to mean that everyone else will do this? No. But it does mean that others will adopt the scam technique and the value of links pages will drop dramatically because webmasters will no longer trust the process. We can't.

Scammers are a tight knit group that love to share their scams and schemes with each other. Reciprocal linking is definitely dead and this scam will inevitably go viral, just as every other abuse and scheme before it have done. Reciprocal links pages are as dead as FFA links pages.

Google has already seen the writing on the wall and only shows backlinks with a PageRank 4 or better. Webmasters seeking reciprocal links have consequently adopted a new strategy when seeking link partners. They breathlessly announce that the page your link will go on is ranked at PR4 at Google.

What's next? PageRank creep! Now that linking has been perverted, Google will begin showing backlinks with PR5 and then PR6, etc. Reciprocal link partners will claim that your link will be placed on a PR7 page and so on. Google essentially negated PR1, PR2 and PR3 by showing no backlinks with those ranks from their own index!

So after a bit of agonizing over the state of the web, thinking about how I can't even troll through the 2500 messages that are quarantined by my SpamFilter program because I don't have time, I decided to end link swaps. Email used to work. FFA pages used to work. Reciprocal links pages used to work. Free classified ads used to work.

What still works? Content works and I am reluctantly going to insist on content from anyone who wants links from my sites or client sites. I've got to like what the contributor has to say and I've got to agree with their article before I'll publish it and link back to them from that article, press release or news.

I've even drafted an email note to use as a template for response to those requesting reciprocal links:
I'd be happy to link to you, but my current method of linking is through articles, not links pages. If you'd like to contribute an article for publication, I'd be glad to link to you through the resource box.

Take a look at those articles I currently use and send your own articles for linking consideration. Be sure to include a resource box with the linking text included within it.

The articles are the only way I link to anyone now. If you don't have any, consider writing a couple specifically for this purpose. I'm sure you also know the value of distributing well written articles for use by other web sites and ezines.

The above link leads to a contributed tutorial article which discusses the value of contributing articles to other sites and lists article distribution sites and free content email lists.

The first few recipients of this email response to their reciprocal link request have responded with polite but obvious surprise.

A couple have said simply, "Oh, I see."

I don't usually hear back from them if article distribution is not something they already do. But a few smart webmasters have set about writing content to distribute with their link requests.

I now do this routinely for search engine optimization clients that retain me for linking campaigns. If that client doesn't write articles of their own, I will then ghost write articles for them and distribute them as a part of link requests to increase client link popularity.

Success on the web is becoming increasingly complex and that means that specialists are becoming more valuable to web site owners seeking visibility and avoiding scams. The latest scam is cloaked reciprocal links URL's that redirect to affiliate program sales pages.

Reciprocal linking is dead!

Search Engine

"Search engine" is actually a general term for any internet portal that has World Wide Web search capabilities. Perhaps you use Google to search for information on the 'net. Google is a search engine, but more specifically, Google is a crawler-based search engine. Yahoo and Open Directory are human-powered directories. Some search engines, such as MSN, are a combination of the two.

The Different Types of Search Engines

  • Crawler-based search engines -search engines use a form of software program called spiders or crawlers("spiders" or "robots") to find information on the Internet and store it for search results in giant databases or indexes.

  • Directory-based search engines-(Human-powered search engines)Open Directory is one such directory and submission depends on a human to actually submit a website.

  • Link -based search engines-a search engine provides results based on hypertext links between sites.

Search Engine Optimization

What is Search Engine Optimization?

SEO is an acronym for “Search Engine Optimization” or “Search Engine Optimizer”.It is a set of methodologies aimed at improving the visibility of a website in search engine listings.
Search Engine Optimizer is the terms adopted by an industry of consultants who carry out optimization projects on behalf of clients, and by employees who perform SEO services in-house.SEO may offer SEO as a stand-alone service or as a part of a broader marketing campaign.

SEO began in the mid-1990s, as the first search engines were cataloging the early Web. Many site owners quickly learned to appreciate the value of a new listing in a search engine, as they observed sharp spikes in traffic to their sites.Site owners soon began submitting their site URLs to the engines on a regular basis, and began modifying their site to accommodate the needs of search engine spiders, the software programs sent out to explore the Web. Danny Sullivan who invented the search engine optimization by a spam message in Usenet(July 26, 1997).Larry Page and Sergey Brin developed “backrub”, a search engine that relied on a mathematical algorithm to rate the prominence of web pages. By 2007, search engines had incorporated a wide range of undisclosed factors in their ranking algorithms to reduce the impact of link manipulation.

What is Friendship???

It is an in-depth relationship combining trust, support, communication, loyalty, understanding, empathy, and intimacy. Aspects of life that all of us crave.

Being able to trust and relax with your friend is a big part of friendship.

Remember when you were young and went with a friend to her grandma's for the week-end. It was fun but when you got home, home was wonderful. Your feeling was "I'm home. I can relax now."

That's what a friendship should be.

You go out into the world and do your best. You have your ups and downs, your problems and triumphs, your fun and vicissitudes. You charm and you perform.

Then you come "home" to a friend. You can relax, put up your feet; you are relieved. If you still have to be charming and/or performing, it's not a relief.

Friendship is a comfy situation like home. You get home, kick off your shoes, relax and sigh, "Ahh, home."

But no one can form a friendship until he/she realizes that the basis of being friends is meeting the needs of the other person. One must be a friend to have one.

Never forget that friends relate. Relating is the basis of friendship.

The Making Of A Mother

It”s Thursday morning..., tnx GoD I'm alive hehehe...(good and bad)...Good because we don't have task this day hehehe.. we have nothing to do except for chatting and browsing in the net about something else that could catch our interest..Bad because It is so boring...a felt asleep..One of my friend said that its better to read articles and stories then I start browsing interested story suddenly I found a list of short stories..I read it all and one of the story that catches my attention and honestly I love it the story titled “Making of a Mother”...a conversation between the Lord and the Angel on how the Lord make the woman of substance..

By the time the Lord made mothers
, He was into the sixth day working overtime. An Angel appeared and said
"Why are you spending so much time on this one?"

And the Lord answered and said,
"Have you read the spec sheet on her? She has to be completely washable, but not elastic; have 200 movable parts, all replaceable; run on black coffee and leftovers; have a lap that can hold three children at one time and that disappears when she stands up; have a kiss that can cure anything from a scraped knee to a broken heart; and have six pairs of hands."

The Angel was astounded at the requirements for this one. "Six pairs of hands! No way!" said the Angel.

The Lord replied, "Oh, it's not the hands that are the problem. It's the three pairs of eyes that mothers must have!"

"And that's on the standard model?" the Angel asked.

The Lord nodded in agreement, "Yep, one pair of eyes are to see through the closed door as she asks her children what they are doing even though she already knows. Another pair in the back of her head are to see what she needs to know even though no one thinks she can. And the third pair are here in the front of her head. They are for looking at an errant child and saying that she understands and loves him or her without even saying a single word."

The Angel tried to stop the Lord "This is too much work for one day. Wait until tomorrow to finish."

"But I can't!" The Lord protested, "I am so close to finishing this creation that is so close to my own heart. She already heals herself when she is sick AND can feed a family of six on a pound of hamburger and can get a nine year old to stand in the shower."

The Angel moved closer and touched the woman, "But you have made her so soft, Lord."

"She is soft," the Lord agreed, "but I have also made her tough. You have no idea what she can endure or accomplish."

"Will she be able to think?" asked the Angel.

The Lord replied, "Not only will she be able to think, she will be able to reason, and negotiate."

The Angel then noticed something and reached out and touched the woman's cheek. "Oops, it looks like You have a leak with this model. I told You that You were trying to put too much into this one."

"That's not a leak." the Lord objected. "That's a tear!"

"What's the tear for?" the Angel asked.

The Lord said, "The tear is her way of expressing her joy, her sorrow, her disappointment, her pain, her loneliness, her grief, and her pride."

The Angel was impressed. "You are a genius, Lord. You thought of everything for this one. You even created the tear!"

The Lord looked at the Angel and smiled and said, "I'm afraid you are wrong again. I created the woman, but she created the tear!"

Favorite Song of Dennis

Someday
Nina

Someday you'll gonna realize
One day you'll see through my eyes
But then i won't even be there
I'll be happy somewhere
Even if i can't

I know
You dont really see my worth
You think your the last guy on earth
Well i've got news for you
I know i'm not that strong
But it won't take long
Won't take long

Chorus

Coz someday, someone's gonna love me
The way, i want you to need me
Someday, someone's gonna take your place
One day i'll forget about you
You'll see, i won't even miss you
Someday, someday

But now
I know you can't tell
I'm down,and i'm not down anyway
But one day these tears
They will all run dry
I won't have to cry
Sweet goodbye

Chorus

Coz someday, someone's gonna love me
The way, i want you to need me
Someday, someone's gonna take your place
One day i'll forget about you
You'll see, i won't even miss you
Someday, someday

I dedicate this SONG and a short story to my DEAR FRIEND Dennis Casa

I hope Someday, someone's gonna take her place to your broken heart.

The Rose Within

A certain man planted a rose and watered it faithfully and before it blossomed, he examined it.
He saw the bud that would soon blossom, but noticed thorns upon the stem and he thought, "How can any beautiful flower come from a plant burdened with so many sharp thorns? Saddened by this thought, he neglected to water the rose, and just before it was ready to bloom... it died.
So it is with many people. Within every soul there is a rose. The God-like qualities planted in us at birth, grow amid the thorns of our faults. Many of us look at ourselves and see only the thorns, the defects.
We despair, thinking that nothing good can possibly come from us. We neglect to water the good within us, and eventually it dies. We never realize our potential.
Some people do not see the rose within themselves; someone else must show it to them. One of the greatest gifts a person can possess is to be able to reach past the thorns of another, and find the rose within them.

This is one of the characteristic of love... to look at a person, know their true faults and accepting that person into your life... all the while recognizing the nobility in their soul. Help others to realize they can overcome their faults. If we show them the "rose" within themselves, they will conquer their thorns. Only then will they blossom many times over.

4 WIVES

There was a rich merchant who had 4 wives. He loved the 4th wife the most and adorned her with rich robes and treated her to delicacies. He took great care of her and gave her nothing but the best.

He also loved the 3rd wife very much. He's very proud of her and always wanted to show off her to his friends. However, the merchant is always in great fear that she might run away with some other men.

He too, loved his 2nd wife. She is a very considerate person, always patient and in fact is the merchant's confidante. Whenever the merchant faced some problems, he always turned to his 2nd wife and she would always help him out and tide him through difficult times.

Now, the merchant's 1st wife is a very loyal partner and has made great contributions in maintaining his wealth and business as well as taking care of the household. However, the merchant did not love the first wife and although she loved him deeply, he hardly took notice of her.

One day, the merchant fell ill. Before long, he knew that he was going to die soon. He thought of his luxurious life and told himself, "Now I have 4 wives with me. But when I die, I'll be alone. How lonely I'll be!"

Thus, he asked the 4th wife, "I loved you most, endowed you with the finest clothing and showered great care over you. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No way!" replied the 4th wife and she walked away without another word.

The answer cut like a sharp knife right into the merchant's heart. The sad merchant then asked the 3rd wife, "I have loved you so much for all my life. Now that I'm dying, will you follow me and keep me company?" "No!" replied the 3rd wife. "Life is so good over here! I'm going to remarry when you die!" The merchant's heart sank and turned cold.

He then asked the 2nd wife, "I always turned to you for help and you've always helped me out. Now I need your help again. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?" "I'm sorry, I can't help you out this time!" replied the 2nd wife. "At the very most, I can only send you to your grave." The answer came like a bolt of thunder and the merchant was devastated.

Then a voice called out : "I'll leave with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go." The merchant looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, almost like she suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the merchant said, "I should have taken much better care of you while I could have !"

Actually, we all have 4 wives in our lives

a. The 4th wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.

b. Our 3rd wife ? Our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, they all go to others.

c. The 2nd wife is our family and friends. No matter how close they had been there for us when we're alive, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.

d. The 1st wife is in fact our soul, often neglected in our pursuit of material, wealth and sensual pleasure.

Guess what? It is actually the only thing that follows us wherever we go. Perhaps it's a good idea to cultivate and strengthen it now rather than to wait until we're on our deathbed to lament

Two Frogs

A group of frogs were traveling through the woods, and two of them
fell into a deep pit. When the other frogs saw how deep the pit
was, they told the two frogs that they were as good as dead. The
two frogs ignored the comments and tried to jump up out of the pit
with all their might. The other frogs kept telling them to stop,
that they were as good as dead. Finally, one of the frogs took
heed to what the other frogs were saying and gave up. He fell down
and died.

The other frog continued to jump as hard as he could. Once again,
the crowd of frogs yelled at him to stop the pain and just die. He
jumped even harder and finally made it out. When he got out, the
other frogs said, "Did you not hear us?" The frog explained to
them that he was deaf. He thought they were encouraging him the
entire time.

This story teaches two lessons:

1. There is power of life and death in the tongue. An encouraging
word to someone who is down can lift them up and help them make it
through the day.

2. A destructive word to someone who is down can be what it takes
to kill them.

Be careful of what you say. Speak life to those who cross your
path. The power of words... it is sometimes hard to understand
that an encouraging word can go such a long way. Anyone can speak
words that tend to rob another of the spirit to continue in
difficult times. Special is the individual who will take the time
to encourage another.
